Halfway There

I'm now slightly more than half-way through my internship. It's had some ups and downs.

Ups: Money, meeting some important people, getting out of town, regaining some confidence in what I can, gaining industry experience, forcing me to establish a more normal work schedule
Downs: Being away from Boy, Creepy post-doc, implementing project not super-interesting (but I think the results might be)

I'm definitely looking forward to going back and getting to start fresh. I miss my apartment. I miss my cat. I miss my Boy. Of course, he won't be there. :(
