Anticipation

I'm at home and have been for a few days. My family opens presents on Christmas Eve, after supper has been eaten and the dishes have been cleared, so there's always a build up as the day goes on. All of my immediate family, all three of my living grandparents and my younger brother's girlfriend are here, essentially waiting for supper. It's fun. And it's good to be home.
